Hand Sanitizing Spray--DIY

Most of us know by now that we need to clean our hands many times throughout the day. Specifically, we need to wash our hands before eating, after using the restroom/changing diapers, after touching animals, and when we’re around people who are sick.
I always have a small bottle of hand sanitizing spray in my bag for those occasions where soap and water are unavailable. I prefer the spray over the gel and lotion…I don’t know why, but that is what works for me.
I recently purchased several essential oils and have been testing out some recipes to make all natural products for my own use. I already told you about making your own cleaner using water, vinegar, and essential oil. Today, I have a recipe for hand sanitizer spray. I have an empty bottle waiting to be filled with this, and am looking forward to trying it out.

Ingredients/Supplies:
1 small spray bottle ( I saved one from a store bought hand sanitizing spray)
2 oz vodka
5 drops essential oil such as tea tree or eucalyptus
2 tsp witch hazel

Directions:
Combine ingredients in spray bottle and mix well

How easy is that?! This recipe comes from Rodale, but I’m sure there are others out there.
